Allyn is located at the head of Case Inlet on North Bay, along State Route 3. Settled in 1853, it has developed into a commercial center for area oyster shipping and evergreen suppliers.

The Port of Allyn owns and operates the photogenic Waterfront Park. This park serves as a gathering place for the annual salmon bake and other community events. The park is decorated with walkways, gazebos, and inviting benches and tables.

Shopping is easy and convenient with stores, shopping center, and a post office within walking distance.

Located 15 miles north of Shelton on Highway 101, this unique city is nestled in-between Hood Canal and Lake Cushman. The northern part of Lake Cushman offers a gateway to the Olympic National Park and Staircase. The Hood Canal Ranger Station at Hoodsport serves all the park users.
